Fire Safety Drill

A mock “fire and evacuation” drill involving students and teachers was conducted on 11 July, 2019 to create awareness among the students about fire-fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in time of such emergency situation.

At 9 ‘o clock in the morning the “evacuation operation” began after the fire alarm alerted the students. The students were immediately evacuated from their classes and asked to gather at the assembly area.

The whole school was evacuated within 3 minutes  35 seconds. All the helpers took their position immediately and used the fire extinguishers to display their usage in case of a mishap.

The mock drill was carried out in the school to prepare students and teachers for any such emergency under the fire risk reduction programme.
