Say No to Plastic
A campaign on ‘Say No to Plastic Bags’ was started in our school on 9th July 2018. A special assembly was organized to launch this campaign. An encouraging speech was presented by our staff member, Mrs. Gunjan in the assembly to sensitize the students towards the need to protect the environment among children.
Our Saturday house activity was also based on the theme’ Say No to Plastic’. Duties have been allotted to all the class teachers and prefects of class III to class X to convey this message on daily basis, turn wise.
The prefects started this activity very enthusiastically in all the classes. They have been using flash cards, posters etc. to show the dangerous side of using plastic bags and the benefits of using papers, jute and clothes bags. This activity will be continued till we completely solve this problem.
We hope that this step of ours will go a long way in eradicating this problem.
