Pariksha Per Charcha

Pariksha Per Charcha

The discussion was attended by the students of class VI to X on 16.02.18. It was  a special discussion focussing especially on problems faced by students related to exams and was named ‘Pariksha Per Charcha’. It was attended by 10 crore students, parents, teachers throughout the country at the same time. It was a unique step taken by our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi which no other person in power has tried ever before.

The students from all the parts of country belonging to different schools asked their questions and very calmly Mr. Modi replied to all the questions that too in a friendly manner.

At the onset of the discussion he assured the students to feel free to talk to him as a friend and not as a PM. He talked about having self-confidence and to remain involved whole heartedly in whatever they do. The synchronized effort of heart, mind and body can remove the tension of exams. Then he told that each one is different and unique so everyone should think of having competition with himself only and not try to copy others. Regarding the pressure on the students he explained that the students should have faith in parents’ intention and parents should have faith in the capacity of their children. No one should pressurize a child to go beyond his limits. The he told the students to also do the things of their interest during exams and do not abstain themselves from recreation. They need to defocus themselves for a while from studies in order to focus again. Yoga can help them in improving not only their IQ (Intelligent Quotient) but also to have EQ (Emotional Quotient). They should not behave as robots but they have emotions too for others’ feelings. On being asked whether he was nervous for his forthcoming exam (2019 elections) or not. He very calmly replied that he was prepared for his exams and that’s the reason he was not nervous as he was blessed with the love and blessings of all the citizens.

On the whole, it was a healthy and productive discussion which proved fruitful and the purpose of organizing it was solved.
