Grandparents’ Day Celebration

Grandparents’ Day was celebrated on 18^th August 2018 in our school auditorium to highlight the significance of the elders in the Indian family system.

The programme started with a welcome speech. Then the students gave a photo frame to their grandparents as a token of love.  The photo frames were already prepared in the class by the students with the help of their teachers.

The students performed rhyme with actions. Thereafter, the grandparents took part in various games which ranged from Lemon spoon race, Thread and Needle race, Passing the Ball and Musical Chair.

The grandparents expressed their feelings towards the school and were very proud as they got an opportunity to visit their grand children’s school and be honored.

Last, but not the least, Our Manager Ma’am Ms. Narinder Batra gave vote of thanks to the grandparents.

A light refreshment was served to everyone.

Overall, it was a successful event.
